I often tell my clients to create a Sunday afternoon routine. This involves three components and one of them is completing a plan for the week. I use this exact Weekly Check In and start with identifying whether I have a busy week ahead then I work out if I need to change or move anything into the following week. I identify where I am in my energy cycle and whether this means I have high or low energy for the week. Then I like to have just three major focuses; these are for if my week is totally hijacked (aka by the kids, lack of sleep or work) or something happens that I did not expect or perhaps I overscheduled or was a little too ambitious with what I wanted to achieve, then I know that as long as I do these three main focuses, I have had a successful week.
